Universal Love Alliance (ULA)

Universal Love Alliance (ULA) is an organization in Uganda that works to create an inclusive and diverse society. Amistad supports administrative costs, enabling ULA to pursue its mission. ULA’s activities include:

  • Counseling for victims of spousal abuse
  • Consulting and treatment of HIV and STDs at the ULA Clinic
  • Men for Women’s Empowerment (for men who have previously committed spousal abuse)
  • Piggery Project (for groups of HIV-positive women)
  • School support for children whose parents died from HIV/AIDS
  • Faith leaders promoting inclusion and acceptance of LGBTIQ individuals
